Are you a discounter?
Go ahead; it’s OK; you can say it. It’s not your fault. You might have been led into it at some point by a pushy ad sales rep that told you you had to run coupons in the Valpak or Entertainment Book to compete. Or maybe you got into a nasty discounting war with a competitor. Perhaps a big corporate chain with deep pockets was trying to put you out of business.
Whatever the case, once you go down the dark path of ALWAYS discounting with no discretion to the entire world, it’s hard to come back into the light.
So what can you do? What should you do? How do you break the circle?
Watch this week’s edition of Mike’s Money Making Minutes. I will explain the difference between Discounting and Marketing and when to use each. And how to break that nasty cycle of always having to give stuff away to drive sales.
A wise man once told me…Compete on price, die by price. I want better for you. Watch now.
